¿Qué hace único este programa?

Este es un programa integral y exclusivo diseñado para viajeros curiosos, estudiantes en año sabático y exploradores culturales que desean profundizar sus conocimientos, adquirir experiencia práctica y descubrir Nicaragua de una manera verdaderamente auténtica.

Desde el aprendizaje del idioma y la sostenibilidad ambiental hasta la inmersión cultural y la aventura, este programa ofrece un viaje completo e inolvidable.

¿Qué incluye?

Alojamiento – Hospédaje en cómodas habitaciones compartidas estilo dormitorio (4 personas por habitación) en un entorno acogedor y con conciencia ecológica.

Comidas diarias – Incluye desayuno y cena durante los días activos del programa (lunes a viernes), con comida fresca y tradicional nicaragüense.

Capacitación práctica en sostenibilidad y cultura – Adquiere habilidades interdisciplinarias mientras participas en proyectos de conservación, agricultura sostenible y desarrollo comunitario. (Lunes a jueves, 3 horas por día).

Excursiones guiadas semanales – Cada viernes realizamos tours exclusivos a algunos de los destinos más hermosos de Matagalpa, incluyendo cascadas, bosques nubosos, observación de fauna y pueblos históricos.

Traslado desde el aeropuerto – Incluimos un traslado grupal desde el aeropuerto hasta Matagalpa un día antes del inicio del programa.

Impacto social y participación comunitaria – Al unirte, apoyas directamente iniciativas sociales y ambientales, asegurando que tu experiencia deje una huella positiva.

“I had the most wonderful experience volunteering here for three weeks. Agualí is a really inspiring place doing great things and it was a pleasure to play a tiny part in it. There are lots of different things going on at Agualí so the work was varied too. I spent time with the older students helping with their English, worked with the honey and cleaned in the hostel. I also created Agualí's first email newsletter and had the chance to go on two camping trips. The manager Gema was great at offering me lots of things to get involved in and if there's something you're particularly interested in it's easy to do more of it. I also had more than enough time to relax and most of the time the 'work' didn't really feel like work. For me it was an ideal mix of peaceful solitary time surrounded by beautiful nature. It was very helpful for me for practicing my Spanish too and everyone was very patient with me. I'd like to say thank you so much again to everyone at Agualí for making it such a memorable experience and I hope to come back and visit some day to see everyone and what more brilliant work they've been up to.”

“We came for a month, but stayed almost two. We really enjoyed our time at the Biological Station and we totally recommend that workaway! We really felt at home in that beautiful place in the mountains of Matagalpa and we got a really authentic and unforgettable experience of Nicaragua. We lived in a comfortable tent and had our own kitchen, where we cooked our food. We were there in November/December and we have to say that the temperature was quite nice, because it was not that hot like in other places in Nicaragua. We had a lot of good moments with our students, we went out for drinks with them, we went camping, we improved our Spanish a lot and we enjoyed being their teachers. Also Fran (farmer at the station) and his family were so welcoming and we shared a lot time together. He showed us a lot about Nicaraguan culture, beekeeping, plants and gardening. Ernesto and Gema, who manage the station, are really friendly, flexible and open-minded people. Thank you very much for that experience!”
